Model : Method Generic

1.     Switch ON your phone WITHOUT SIM Card
2.     Then compose : *#0000*unlockcode#
3.     To finish compose : *#0001*unlockcode#

Model : 531 & 535

1.     Power ON your phone WITHOUT SIM Card,
2.     Press * and without release compose 787292,
3.     A new menu "Unlock Network" will appear, then select "YES",
4.     Enter the unlock code which was provided to you.

Model : All other Alcatel

1.     Power on your handset with a NON-ACCEPTED SIM
2.     When the message "Enter Network Key" appears, enter the unlockcode.

8100 Pearl Series:
1.    Insert ACCEPTED (carrier) SIM card
2.    Power on the handset (wireless option should be off)
3.    Scroll to Options and press the trackball
4.    Select Advanced Options
5.    Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball
6.    Type MEPPD (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
7.    Type "MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
8.    You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the unlockcode and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm
9.    Press the Enter Key. Rebooting the device is always a good idea.

8220 Pearl (flip):
1.    Scroll to and select the Manage Connections icon
2.    Select Turn All Connections Off
3.    Press the red End key
4.    Scroll to and select the Settings icon
5.    Scroll to and select the Options icon
6.    Scroll to and select Advanced Options
7.    Scroll to and select SIM Card
8.    Enter MEPPD Note: When Typing in MEPPD the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device

3.    Go to Options and press the trackball/trackpad

6.    Type mep2 ('2' is ALT + E).  A pop-up window will appear: “Enter Network MEP Code (10 left)”
7.    Enter the MEP2 unlock code (also known as NCK) and press Enter - "Code Accepted!" will be displayed
8.    Type mep4 (4 is ALT + S) and another pop-up window will appear: “Enter Network MEP Code (10 left)”, enter the MEP4 code
9.    Enter the MEP4 unlock code (also known as SPK) and press Enter - "Code Accepted!" will be displayed
10.    Turn on data and wireless connections 
NOTE:
1.     * After unlocking your CDMA phone, please make sure your handset is set to “GSM/UMTS”.
Go to Options > Mobile Networks > Network Mode: GSM
2.     ** Make sure all your mobile connections are on. - Options > Manage Connections > Turn on Mobile Connections

Use only if the above method does not work:

1.     On the Today screen, tap Start Settings
2.     Tap the Phone Band icon
3.     Tap the Keyboard icon to open the virtual keyboard
4.     Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the keys
5.     Tap the blank area below the band selection box to open the unlock tool
6.     Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the keys
7.     Enter the 8-digit unlock code and tap OK when done
8.     Wait for the device to validate the unlock code (about five seconds)
